Hello, World

Nov 10, 2020 14:34

I really wanted to title this, I am bored. However, as any one who has ever tried anything new in programming knows, "Hello, World!" Is the first thing that you write. Now, 5 of you that I have sent the link to this website have been bullying me into posting something, well here it is. My thoughts are never structured, so do not try to follow this post in an ordered manner... Most of the people that I know do not really follow programming, nor anything that has anything to do with it, so I will try to talk less about that... because I also know zero. I think zero in programming is something right? I mean the first index is zero. That is the whole thing about zero-based numbering. Okay, I am giving myself some credit, I know zero!

Currently, I have been learning assembly, I found a good tutorial-style article that is an introduction to assembly. What really excites me with assembly is that it literally makes you appreciate computers, you learn about microprocessors and all the magic about computer operations. I guess this is the bit in programming where you might need some mathematics. Let me skip this assembly bit with my reasons for learning assembly. I want to be able to make things, I guess robots and all the pretty electronical stuff. Assembly could provide me with some capabilities to get into hardware programming. There might be an easier way to do this, but whatever...

What can I ramble about next? Django? Yes! Django is beautiful, well Python... while I appreciate it, a lot. My problem is that it does not give you much freedom to commit errors, and honestly, I really want to do damage. That way I get to learn stuff, I guess I am just being unappreciative. Pip installing this and that is cool, but what happens when you suddenly get this error and you cannot figure it out, only to find out that you should have configured your settings this way and that way. I am really ungrateful. Python is amazing though do not get me wrong. I might wake up tomorrow and want to learn C...

Let me end my TEDTalk...

I am testing if this works!!

Programming languages are just tools bro - and every tool has it's own use-case but that Python slander will not be tolerated at all 😒

It works

Ha! Not bad. Seems like Python is a parent that wants you to go out into the world and be your best self but do so within the yard 🤣 It has its perks but it's not the world 🤷.
If today was opposite day I would say that I hated this first entry! 😝 Anyway! Thanks for the TED talk!
